Arrowhead Golf Club
7:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. shotgun starts
The Friends of the Denver Fire Department and the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation proudly present the 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, May 18, 2012, at the majestic Arrowhead Golf Club – a Colorado experience that is not to be missed.
The course features the most extreme elevation changes you will find on the Front Range, abundant wildlife, rolling terrain, dramatic vistas, and thousands of feet of ancient red sandstone rocks towering above. Voted the #1 public course in the Denver area and one of America's "Top 75 Public Courses" by Golf Digest, this Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed course is truly the golf experience of a lifetime.
This is a tournament that’s as much fun for experienced golfers as it is for beginners with prizes for the best AND the worst scores. It’s all about a great time for a great cause.
Foursomes will play a scramble format with a choice of 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM shotgun starts. In addition to green fees, participants will receive breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner, beverages and snacks, gift bags, contest holes (longest drive for men and women, closest to the pin, and speed hole), with an anwards ceremony immediately following the tournament.
We invite you to join us on the course. Entertain your clients and friends, meet DFD Chief Tade and Denver firefighters, and enjoy a sensational meal.
We hope you will be there to golf. If you can’t make it or you don’t want to golf, please consider sponsoring a foursome. We will gladly fill one for you with off-duty Denver firefighters . We also hope you’ll ask your spouse, family members and friends to join you for dinner. Golfers enjoy a complimentary lunch or dinner, $45 per guest.
The Fore Fire charity golf tournament benefits the programs of the Friends of The Denver Fire Department and the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation.
The mission of The Friends of the Denver Fire Department is to support Denver's Fire Department by providing public education, through efforts to improve fire fighter safety and quality of life, and with direct resources to meet fire fighter needs thereby improving public safety in the City and County of Denver.
Because of the nature of their jobs, professional firefighters are often the first to come into contact with those who have suffered burn injuries. The Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation was formed to help burn victims with treatment, rehabilitation and return to ordinary life.
